		<description>@McCabe2729 It sounds like your springs are fatigued... I would disengage the door from the opener by pulling the emergency release cord.  Then open and close the door manually to see if it slides down on it&#039;s own or feels overly heavy.  I have a video posted on &quot;how to check the balance of your garage door&quot; which will show you step by step.

When the door is heavy because the springs are fatigued the door can be heavy﻿ enough to exceed the &quot;force limits&quot; of the opener.  does this help?</description>
